PETALING JAYA: Chinese tourist arrivals into Johor baru are expected to rise with the commencement of AirAsia’s daily direct flights from Guangzhou.
Its inaugural AK1395 flight landed at the Senai International Airport, Johor baru at 6.50am Monday with a 95% flight load.
To celebrate this occasion, AirAsia is offering promotional all-in-fares from RM179 one-way.
The fares are available for booking online at airasia.com from until June 12, for the travel period between May 31 and Nov 24, 2016.
Alternatively, the promotional fares are also available on AirAsia’s mobile app on iPhone and Android devices.
Aireen Omar, AirAsia Berhad CEO said they were committed to growing their southern hub, and have been working hand in hand with Senai International Airport to further grow both domestic and international tourist arrivals into Johor baru.
“We are very proud to receive yet another international inaugural flight into Johor Baru, this time connecting the people of Guangzhou to experience the southern state of Johor.
“Just last month, we celebrated the arrival of flights from Hat Yai into Johor Baru and we look forward to further strengthening our market share in our southern hub,” she said in a statement on Monday. – TheStar
